How we make money
The reminder tool is free, and your reminder data is not the product. Last updated October 25, 2026.
The business behind BDACheck
BDACheck is run by WhenLeads, a division of DV8 WEB LLC. WhenLeads earns money from installers, meaning two-way radio, fire alarm and DAS firms, in two ways:
- Quote introductions. When a building owner or manager asks for quotes on our sister site ERRCSCheck, up to 3 vetted installers who serve the area receive the request and pay us for it. The quote form says this before anyone sends it.
- County alerts. Installers pay for weekly lists of buildings with new fire code citations, permits or deadlines on the public record, with business contacts only.
What that means for you
- Setting a reminder or keeping a test log never shares your details with anyone. Your reminders are not sold and are not used to build installer alerts.
- If you want quotes, it is your choice to request them on ERRCSCheck.
- Installers cannot pay to change what our guides say or to be recommended on this site.
Why it is free
Keeping tests on schedule is good for buildings and for the firefighters who rely on the radio coverage. Some managers who use the tool will need a tester or a repair one day, and some of them will ask for quotes. That is enough for us.
